Abstract :
In the research process of the centrifugal pump hydraulic model, generally speaking, more than one impeller respectively optimize multiple volute design, then each pair is combined into multiple hydraulic model. Sift through numerical simulation CFD, and by model pump test, ultimately determine the hydraulic model program is determined. In a centrifugal pump hydraulic model project, on the basis of that the impeller is constant and installation test conditions, we find that different equivalent diffusion angle volutes have distinct influence on the cavitation performance of centrifugal pump.
