Abstract :
Presents data on interference measured by different methods in Sweden. The data show how the levels of interference vary with frequency, time of day and different times of the year. The levels in different bands of the HF spectrum are demonstrated for night and day. Also the variation over a few minutes of the interference is considered. Measurements of occupancy according to the definition used at UMIST by Laycock et al. (1988) started in 1990. The occupancy in the HF-band as measured in Sweden is compared to their model
