Microwave System for Wireless Providing of Multimedia Services UMDS MITRIS

Considered in this paper is telecommunication system UMDS MITRIS, providing high-tech decision for wide-band distribution networks. It should be noted that UMDS MITRIS is consumer system, which takes into account perspectives of national information systems integrated into European and worldwide infrastructures. It is shown that system architecture provides its compatibility with broadcasting satellite systems, and can be supplied with micro-power retranslators and cable system, that allows widening the service area. Considered are performance criteria of wireless wideband access systems and perspectives for UMDS MITRIS system application
