Abstract
There have been significant efforts in previous years to design a low cost radar system for use in automobiles for collision warning and intelligent cruise control. Much of the research to date has been on single polarized systems. This paper reports on the design and construction of dual-polarized slot-coupled patch antennas on Rogers 5880 Duroid. The design uses surface mount components on gold microstrip line. High gain is achieved with teflon lenses.
