Abstract :
The progress of the LED lighting makes the luminance criterion as evaluation standard for road lighting become more important, but the luminance distribution calculation is very difficult. In this paper, a new luminance coefficient matrix is introduce for straight road, this provides a new simple method for luminance calculation. The derivation method and the result of the matrix for R3 pavement as an example were given. An applied example of the luminance coefficient matrix is given in this paper.
