Abstract :
A method used for the modelling and calculation of the electric field in 36 kV indoor bushings is presented in this paper. In particular the work constitutes an application at the study of the electric field distribution in bushings when the position and shape of the leader shield is modified. The electrical analysis carried out simulates the bushings behaviour at commercial frequency. The simulation and analysis of the behaviour study of the bushing are accomplished by means of the finite element method
