Abstract
In order to raise the DeSO2 efficiency, an activating water-vapor system realized by positive DC corona discharge was set up in the front of the DeSO2 reactor with PPCP (pulse corona induced plasma chemical process). In this paper, some tests were introduced, including the character of corona discharge in the activating system, the influence on DeSO2 of various amount of water-vapor, and the role of activating water-vapor in the technology of DeSO2 from flue gas with PPCP. The tests results demonstrated that the DeSO, efficiency can be increased about 20% (70%-84%, the electric power is 5 W/m3) owing to the method of activating water-vapor
