Abstract
The serious issue of power shortages in developing countries like Pakistan leads to the search for developing renewable, economical and environment friendly re.sources of energy. Generating electricity through Waste To Energy (WTE) Plants can be a good choice for densely populated cities and is becoming popular in Asia as an economical and environment friendly technology. In this paper, capacity of Solid Waste Fueled Power Plant (SWF.PP) for city of Peshawar, Pakistan has been djscussed and for its effective results of waste incineration and Power generation a precise estimation of waste quantity collected its characteristics and ultimate power generation has been analyzed.
