Abstract :
In this paper, we analyze the performance of the multiple access interference of the time-hopping impulse radio system with pulse position modulation. In particular, the authors focus on the multiple access interference (MAI) performance with SRAKE receiver case, an approximate expression for SIR and probability of error are derived over multi-path environment with additive white Gaussian noise. Our analysis for improving the error performance of the multiple access system provides a feasible scheme. At last, the authors point out that the trade-off among BER, bit rate and multiple users is very important of the UWB system.
