Abstract
The DYNACON, Inc. CTD (Conductivity, Temperature and Depth) Traction Winch System and Motion Compensated Crane were developed in response to higher loads associated with the use of larger CTD units and high-capacity water carousel samplers. The system is further designed to reduce cable, umbilical or wire rope stress resulting from induced loads caused by wave and/or vessel motion
