Abstract :
This paper describes an RFID project developed by Eldorado Research Institute. Eldorado has been working on many different RFID projects, such as: RFID chip development; tag/reader antennas; directional couplers and a “smart” shelf; amongst these are ASIC projects, such as, an ultra-low power RFID chip in 180nm CMOS technology conforming to EPC global Class-1 Generation-2 standard. In this regard, Eldorado offers an infrastructure of labs, equipment and qualified engineering staff, in order to promote microelectronics technology in Brazil.
