Reliability improvement programs and asset management optimization for the asset intensive industries

This paper describes the main challenges faced by asset intensive industries on achieving the operational goals related to reliability and maintainability, as well as how to overcome them using a simple yet powerful systematic approach within the framework of the right asset management strategy. In addition, this paper describes several examples of typical outcomes expected when Reliability Programs are properly defined and implemented as part of a customized Asset Management strategy.
