Abstract :
The problem of fuzzy community structure detection in complex network has received a considerable amount of attention in recent years. In this study, we present a useful genetic algorithm which aims to obtain fuzzy network partition by a new modular function. For improving the efficiency of algorithm, both initialization process and genetic operation are specifically optimized based on the local topology information of network. Experiments on various scale computer-generated networks and real world networks show the capability of the method to find the fuzzy community structure of network.
