Abstract
Study of Multi-Resolution Modeling (MRM) is both emphasis and difficulty in the complex system modeling and simulation. Based on the multilevel model architecture for spatial mission simulation and advantages/disadvantages of several typical MRM methods, the entity and function models were built by applying alternate submodels, Integrated Hierarchical Variable Resolution (IHVR) and pseudo aggregation and disaggregation reasonably. The result indicates that the application of MRM in spatial mission simulation can meet the requirement of missions well and enhance developing and running efficiency of simulation system.
