Abstract :
Because distance education and sharing of educational resources is based on network architecture, a very high request for the reliability and access efficiency of educational resources is put forward. The feature of education resources is that the visits of newer data are large and the visits of historical data are small. The data availability has a large difference. According to the characteristics of the education resources, a strategy of replica placement based on the forecast of resource access is put forward in the educational management system. The low-heat data resources in the education network don´t save a copy, but coded and stored by the policy of RS erasure coding redundancy. The optimal algorithm of key parameter selection based on erasure coding is also put forward. With this algorithm, higher data reliability can be obtained and less storage is used under the same degree of redundancy than the strategy of complete replica.
