    Within the frame of a Franco-Germam co-operation between the German “ Alfred Wegener Institut for Polar and Marine Research” (AWI) and the french “Institut Francais de Recherche pour l´Exploitation de la Mer” (IFREMER) the French Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) “VICTOR 6000” was successfully deployed from board R/V “POLARSTERN” during the polar expedition ARK XV/1 from 23.06 to 18.07.1999 to Fram Strait and the Greenland Sea
