  • Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the ergodic capacity of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) Rician fading channels in the presence of spatial correlation at both the transmitter and the receiver with perfect channel state information (CSI) at the receiver. Based on majorization theory and the distribution of quadratic forms in normal random variables, we propose a tight lower bound on the ergodic capacity in terms of Meijer G-function. Our analytical results are validated through extensive Monte Carlo simulations using the exponential correlation model.
