Abstract :
The paper discuss selected issues in data fusion of tracking radar and AIS data from the point of view of INS. Firstly it presents the concept of INS according to IMO and the place for radar-AIS fusion in it. The short characteristics of radar - AIS fusion concept is given. Main part of the paper includes description of the most important problems of inconsistency in such a fusion. Finally an example results of the research on radar-AIS association are given.
