Abstract
GPR surveys are normally processed to provide reflection images free of static offsets and long period drift. However in many surveys the raw data is observed to contain systematic decays consistent with Cole-Cole models of complex impedance. The resulting time-constants can be used to provide additional constraints for geotechnical investigations of moisture content and plasticity in soils.
