Abstract
The practical aspects of disturbances caused by frequency converters on PC based data measurement systems, due to converter location at the same site (mounted nearby), are discussed. The measurement system was equipped with sensors in the form of piezoelectric and strain gauges used to examine acceleration of gearbox body and force. The intention of the authors is to share their expertise and exchange ideas on how to cope with disturbances in measured data even if all equipment complies with the normally accepted EMC standards
