Abstract
A generalized structure of the spatial-temporal correlator (STC) is proposed for joint acquisition of PN code and adaptive beamforming weight in direct-sequence spread-spectrum (DSSS) systems with antenna array. Detection performance of the generalized STC is theoretically analyzed under Gaussian jamming. Analysis results show that the generalized STC retains the important features of the original STC such as effective jammer suppression and constant false alarm rate (CFAR), and it can reduce the computation complexity significantly only with negligible performance loss.
