Abstract :
According to the framework of wind base construction in JiuQuan area of Gansu Province, China, the plan of wind power integration and transmission was designed. Based on above, the capability of Northwest Grid to accept wind power from JiuQuan area was analyzed from aspects of peak regulation margin, reactive power compensation and voltage control, transient stability, etc. Suggestion for promoting wind power integration capability was provided also, such as applying fixed series compensation, dynamic reactive power compensation device (for example SVC), etc.
