Abstract :
Adaptive FIR notch filters are known to improve the performance of DS-SS systems. Suppression of tone interference in DS-SS receiver using a simplified lattice based adaptive IIR notch filter is studied. SNR improvement factor and probability of bit error of the system are determined based on pseudonoise correlator output. Results of the analysis are supported by computer simulations
