Abstract :
This paper shows the design of a conformal array antenna system for reception of Metop satellite, L band signal. The antenna system is made of a set of individual beam steering planar antennas combined in an adaptive receiver, to form a dome antenna. This combination allows optimum satellite reception and interference protection coming from other satellites and from the grown surface emissions. The angle coverage is 360deg in azimuth and 5 to 90deg in elevation.
