Abstract
A new technique is developed for determining the electromagnetic waves propagation in certain region in space, via a single near-field measurement taken over a specific surface. Three independent components of the electromagnetic fields, at any point in space, can be computed based on measured information of near-field data of two tangential components on a single planar, spherical, or cylindrical surface. Good agreement between calculated and measured data verified the algorithm.
