Abstract
In this paper, we evaluate the performance of an ad-hoc network architecture, investigating the effect of various design and operational parameters on the blocking and dropping probabilities. In particular, we study the improvement in the network coverage due to the multi-hop routing feature. Furthermore, the effect of limiting the path length on the network performance is studied, showing that there is an optimal value for this parameter
