The Mosaic research group at the University of Arizona applies a combination of foreign-area studies and technology assessment to the study of international developments in the information technologies, focusing on the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and the People´s Republic of China. The work of Mosaic group members is well supported by an in-house collaborative research system. The authors present the group´s research, background, organization, and future plans
