Abstract :
Influence of the magnitude of the focusing magnetic field on the efficiency of interaction in a TWT-O tube is investigated on the basis of the constructed 2D theory of excitation of the basic wave of the non-regular coaxial waveguide. The range of values of a magnetic field with an observed failure of amplification is detected.
