Abstract
Describes an improved microstrip sensor with a thin magnetic film which can measure with high accuracy two components of magnetic field parallel to the plane of film investigated. The structure of the sensor consists of two horizontal and two vertical strip conductors arranged on the upper surface of dielectric substrate and, thus making two pairs of coupled microstrip resonators. To each pair of resonators input and output transmission lines are conductively connected. The thin magnetic film is on the lower surface of the dielectric substrate and consists of two parts with different directions of field of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy. Each of the parts of the film is situated against one of the pairs of resonators and is covered by a copper layer serving as a shield.
