Abstract
This paper presents a novel approach for automatic design of optimal aperture field distribution based on the versatile three-parameter (3-P) model. Numerical results show that with the Emperor selective genetic algorithm (EMS-GA) only a few iterations are needed to obtain satisfactory design results.
