Abstract
A discrete and continuous-time adaptive chaotic synchronization scheme is presented where a transmitter/receiver mismatch of the parameters is overcome by this adaptive algorithm. The existence regions of synchronization in the discrete case are investigated via critical lines. Numerical continuous-time chaotic synchronization based on this adaptive architecture is shown and used to decrypt a binary modulated chaotic signal
