Abstract :
GNSS penetration into the mass market will generate new services in particular in urban areas. Some of these applications will need relative accurate positions, not available today in such environment because of masking obstacles that cause signal blockage and positioning errors. The aim of this paper is to introduce the propagation phenomena and the way to compute and process them. Two approaches are introduced that will use the predicted knowledge of the environment and its impact in order to provide better accuracy
