Abstract
This paper presents a fuzzy logic controller to control the dissolved oxygen of a fermentation process in a bioreactor. The control of the dissolved oxygen is accomplished through adjusting the agitator speed and the rate of adding sparge (air) into the system. The system description of the bioreactor is obtain using standard system identification techniques. Simulations are presented illustrating the proposed fuzzy logic controlled system
