New media potential in the education

In the article the didactic and methodical principles of multimedia means implementation in the study process are reviewed, especially by foreign language learning. The role of material and technical basis, as one that provides the natural speech analogue, is described. The special attention is paid to the Internet-technologies implementation processes into the studying process, the positive sides of this process are ascertained, as well as some risks and tendencies of the unregulated and unmeasured use of innovative technologies in educational environment.
