Abstract :
The present contribution describes the concept and implementation of a wireless ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) demonstration system. A prototype for a broadband radio interface has been developed. The demonstrator allows for an investigation of the impact of radio transmission on ATM based services. Furthermore, the benefits of adaptive modulation and diversity can be studied
