Abstract :
The authors characterize space diversity, and fade duration statistics associated with two over-water, line-of-sight, C-Band links in the Mid-Atlantic coast of the United States over the year period 1 June 1989-31 May 1990. This information is important in that it establishes the potential for fade margin reduction in a system employing space or route diversity methods
