Abstract :
Observer design and analysis for time-dependent switched systems when observer switching signal both matches and mismatches the original switched system switching signal is investigated in this paper. Firstly, an asymptotic observer design methodology is proposed based on average dwell time approach when observer matches the original systems precisely. When the observer signal mismatches the original system signal, an observer design approach is proposed. It is shown that the estimation error state is bounded and the bound is related to the mismatching period of the observer. Finally, the simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the approach proposed in this paper.
