Abstract :
This paper presents a compact millimeter-wave tone continuous wave radar operating in monostatic and/or bistatic modes. The circuit includes two four-port interferometric down-converters as precise phase-shifts detectors. The system developed in miniature hybrid microstrip technology is implemented on a thin ceramic substrate. The demodulation of millimeter-wave signals is experimentally demonstrated to validate the architecture proposed.
