Abstract :
This paper describes the whole processing pipeline of our ultra wideband (UWB) 3GHz bandwidth multistatic radar system which produces a video-like radar image of the scene under surveillance. All the processing steps will be highlighted: digital signal processing, radar imaging by a combination of backprojection and trilateration, moving target segmentation for tracking and building contour detection using the Radon transform. Thus, our radar system can display moving targets only, or steady targets and the fixed structure of the scene, or both simultaneously. The data were acquired using a 3.2GHz bandwidth multistatic radar. The simulation and experiment results obtained will be shown, compared and discussed.
