  • Abstract
In cast-moulding, the study of sensitivity to the change of a chosen projecting parameter allows the constructor to draw up the optimum project. In this paper, an algorithm for studying sensitivity, considering the thermal diffusivity coefficient of the moulding mass is described, We consider an area Ω consisting of two sub-areas Ω1 and Ω2. We assume that the area Ω1 is filled with cooling metal, while Ω2 is filled with moulding sand. From our mathematical description, the system circumscribing receptivity is overtly dependant on temperature. This results in the necessity of reckoning sensitivity at the considered moment of time.
