  • Abstract
In this paper a finite set control is implemented for the shunt hybrid power. The controller generates the future reference voltages of the hybrid power filter inverter, obtained by instantaneous power theory; consequently, at each sampling period, the reference voltages are compared with the finite set of voltage vectors in the inverter of the hybrid power filter in order to select the optimal vector which reduces the cost function. The proposed method shows simplicity in implementation since it does not require a PWM block to obtain gating signals of the inverter. The verification of the performance of this method under steady state and transient operating conditions is carried out by experimental results.
