Abstract

Summary form only given. In this work, the authors present a proposal of a framework to analyze the management of knowledge in the R&D field. In the first part of the paper, they introduce a review of knowledge management. Then, they introduce a framework that synthesizes the elements above. In the last part, they present the framework application in a global manufacturing company in the product development process, and conclusions are presented. This framework is based on the systemic perspective and has two views: the process view; and the congruence view. Each one of these views is discussed in more detail
