Abstract :
In this report, we describe a very high-speed light source module containing an MQW electroabsorption (EA) modulator integrated with a DFB laser. This light source module exhibited a successful 40 Gbit/s NRZ operation and generated highly resolved optical DFB laser pulse trains at a repetition rate of 40 GHz
