Abstract :
The authors report on RACE project R1036 for optical fibre TV routing using wavelength and time division multiplexing (WTDM). The project has almost completed its five year workplan. A project outline is given, followed by details of the optical equipment and electronic equipment which has been developed. Plans are discussed for a pilot project at the BBC Regional Centre in Cardiff
