  • Abstract
    The present work carries out the design optimization of a chirped FBG in respect of grating length, chirp bandwidth and apodization profile in achieving optimum dispersion and dispersion slope compensation in optical transmission system for both (i) 40 Gb/s IM-DD and (ii) SCM based analog transmission links.
