The Balance Research of Dwelling House´s IAQ of Asian Cities

In China, the development of economy and improvement of living level make people pay more attention to their indoor air quality, especially in their living room where they stay much more time than in other places. It is also a common idea that indoor air quality can have big influence on people´s health, work productivity and so on. In order to get some information of different counties of Asia and make a balance research, an international research team was established and five cities were chosen, they are Tianjin, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei and Hong Kong. It is much appreciated that Japan National Health Bureau give a support to this team and with its support, questionnaire research and field measurements were made in these five cities. The measurements included formaldehyde and VOC. With the work mentioned above, it can get that there are some sameness and differences in indoor air quality between the cities, some affections on indoor air were analyzed in this paper.
