Abstract :
This paper describes the design of a multimedia processing engine and QoS processing sub-module providing timely services, based on the TMO model. The TMO (Time-triggered Message-triggered Object) model is a timeliness-guaranteed computing model, developed by Kim and Kopets (1994; 1997). We first identify functional requirements of an engine for processing multimedia services and guaranteeing required QoS dynamically. Then, we present a design of the engine and a prototype developed by using the TMO model
