Abstract :
This paper describes the application of the framework to technology transfer and sourcing in the domestic appliance industry. The particular process technology being considered for outsourcing was the pressing of metal parts, to be replaced eventually by plastic injection moulding carried out inside the firm. The supplier considered was a Turkish based company specialised in the manufacture of sheet metal and plastic parts
