Abstract :
Summary form only given. The purpose of this study is to determine the forms of strategic development of the Turkish Holding Companies. Growth is one of the most natural strategies adapted by the companies. Growth is the inevitable consequence for staying alive. For the establishments to grow there are generally three major alternatives. They are: volume growth within the same scope of business: to increase the product volume; unrelated growth pattern: to enter business fields, which are outside of the scope of business of the company; and related growth: to enter another fields of businesses, which are within the scope of work of the company. The study is carried out in the following steps: the determination of the process of work and the scope and the purpose of the study; the gathering of data and their evaluation; and the determination of strategic development
