Abstract :
Renewable energy is nowadays one of the most interesting topics due to the high pollution generated from classical energy sources. One type of renewable energy sources is wave energy. This type of energy is still not very well developed. In this paper, a mechanical system to produce clean wave energy is proposed. This system is designed, manufactured and tested on the Lebanese coast. The system worked properly. However, the produced energy is relatively low and some recommendations are proposed.
